Kitchen tiles?

We recently remodeled the kitchen and are now ready to implement something between counter and wall cabinets. We are thinking of tile. Our cabinets are oak. The counters are a mixture of marble looking gray, blue, beige. Our machines are beige. What color tile that looks good for this? Also, you could use 4x4 vs 12x12 tiles or smaller tiles or smaller tiles better? Today is unpainted drywall. Can I install the tile with drywall behind? Or do you need another kind of support?

The thing to note about using 12x12 tiles in this case is that unless exceptionally fortunate will have to be cut. While small tiles also have to be cut, the size difference will not be as dramatic and general must be more aesthetically pleasing effect. Of course, more than two or three sizes available, and you may want to consider a small edge model of some kind in place filling the space with a tile. For that reason we recommend alternating tiles of the same size with different but complementary colors. As for the choice color (or colors) may be better to see what is available locally and buy a single piece of different styles that I think you'd like, and then carry them go home to see how the rest of your kitchen. Of course, not have to buy those backing board wall tiles, but instructions on the sticker to buy advised to see if primer or otherwise treating the drywall.

Ceramics - is good if you are not willing to spend much money. It becomes an option durable. It is also easy to maintain.

Slate tiles - is also widely used in the kitchen tiles. These last a long time and looks good. However, these cracks easily in harsh conditions.

Marble - is more expensive than most types of tiles. It takes a lot of maintenance, which can be tarnished by the stains easily.

Granite - is another popular type of tile. It is tough and durable and can withstand years of use.

Glass tiles - is well known for its style and beauty, and is very popular.

Kitchen tiles must be selected carefully. Certain parts of the kitchen, near the furnace walls or burner must be cards that can withstand high temperatures. A number of tabs available that are in perfect accord with all kinds of special purpose in the kitchen.

You will have to be careful when choosing the tiles from different parts of the kitchen. For the cabinet and countertops, ceramic tile perhaps the best option. Granite tiles are the best for the soil. You can choose tiles and dust resistant walls kitchen. You can use your creativity and mix of different types of tiles for a beautiful look in your kitchen.
