Quartz Kitchen Countertop
Looking for pure creamy white stone or composite material suitable for kitchen countertop?
i am a very active cook and am remodeling my kitchen. I like the look of Calacatta marble with its very creamy white color but it is too porous. Dont like the look of white quartz. I had looked at corian but it looked pretty lifeless. the best i've seen so far is Silestone Zues series. Can anyone tell me of other options?? and perhaps the source where i may see it? i'm located in west palm beach, florida. visit new york city often also.
We have a Travatine dining table and although this isn't the creamy colour you would like it is a natural stone and porus.
I used a product called Lithofin to seal the stone it just may work for your Marble. The sealer is a spirit based material which soaks into the stone the process is to paint on a coat wait until dry then repeat the process until the stone will not absorb any moe fluid. The product is completly colourless and when evaporated does not smell. I can now spill a glass of red wine onto the table and it does not soak in. Ask your supplier for samples of your preffered marble and try sealing it Good Luck
